Curriculum Vitae of Queena K QIAN, PhD
Queena K QIAN is Assistant Professor at OTB research for Research Institute for the Built Environment, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), the Netherlands since December 2014. Before she moved to the Netherlands, She was appointed as Research Assistant Professor at Building and Real Estate Dept., the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HK PolyU). She received her PhD, entitled “Barriers to Promote Building Energy Efficiency- A Transaction Costs Perspective”, at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2012. She has received prestigious awards from different countries. For example, Delft Technology Fellow (2014) at TU Delft, the Netherlands. Endeavour Australian Cheung Kong Fellow (2013) at University of South Australia, Australia. She was a Fulbright recipient (2010) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory at UC Berkeley and Washington University in St Louis, USA. Her research interests are: green building promotion, building energy efficiency, transaction costs, low carbon city development, elderly friendly precinct design, sustainable urban planning, energy retrofit, governance and incentive schemes, etc.
