Digital Construction and Industrial Transformation---2021 Annual Meeting of Institute of Construction Management of Architectural Society of China and Forum on Engineering Management Education held in Chongqing (Part 2)
On the morning of October 24, the 5 parallel sessions of the 2021 Annual Meeting of Institute of Construction Management of Architectural Society of China and Forum on Engineering Management Education were held at Chongqing Keyuan Hotel. A total of 36 experts and researchers delivered academic speeches on topics including "High-quality development of project management", "Intelligent construction and industrial innovative development", "Carbon-neutral development of global construction industry", "Urban renewal and innovative development of real estate", and "Project cost and industrial reform".
Eight experts and researchers, Prof. Chen Liwen from Hebei University of Technology, a member of the Teaching Steering Sub-committee of Engineering Management and Engineering Cost, Mr. Sun Hu from Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Prof. Zhang Hong from Zhejiang University, a member of the Teaching Steering Sub-committee of Engineering Management and Engineering Cost, Mr. Tan Jianguo, Chief Engineer of Southwest China Branch of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp. Ltd., Prof. Xue Xiaolong from Guangzhou University, Prof. Deng Xiaopeng from Southeast University, Mr. Dong Li, Managing Director of China Reinsurance Group Co., Ltd. and Prof. Liu Junying from Tianjin University, appeared at the Parallel Session 1 upon invitation and delivered academic speeches. Experts and researchers delivered speeches on the topic "High-quality development of project management" from aspects including discipline construction, project management, digital intelligence and management practice of construction management.
Prof. Lu Yujie from Tongji University, Mr. Wang Yang, Chairman of TY Intelligent Science & Technology (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., Prof. Sun Chengshuang from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Prof. Ji Yingbo from North China University of Technology, Mr. Zhu Yirong, Senior Product Director of Glodon, Mr. Hu Yuchen, Chief Solution Officer of Shanghai Roboticplus, Prof. Zhou Ying from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Prof. Mao Chao from Chongqing University showed up at the Parallel Session 2 upon invitation, and delivered academic speeches. Experts and researchers delivered academic speeches on the topic "Intelligent construction and industrial innovative development" from aspects including digital twinning, heterogeneous big data and man-machine cooperation at the frontier of the field of intelligent construction, and shared their thoughts on the application of emerging technologies in the building industry.
At the Parallel Session 3, researchers had discussion over research of carbon emission reduction in the context of "Carbon Neutrality and Emission Peak". Prof. Du Qiang from Chang'an University, a member of the Teaching Steering Sub-committee of Engineering Management and Engineering Cost, Mr. Xu Xiaolong, Director of the Policy Planning Committee of China Association of Building Energy Efficiency, Prof. Li Lihong from Shenyang Jianzhu University, a member of the Teaching Steering Sub-committee of Engineering Management and Engineering Cost, Prof. Li Dezhi from Southeast University, Prof. Li Yulong from Central University of Finance and Economics, Mr. Huang Ning, Deputy Director of Green Building Research Center of China Construction Technology Center and Prof. Cai Weiguang from Chongqing University shared their research findings including the use of low-carbon technology for carbon reduction, emission reduction measures in the field of transportation, and carbon peak and carbon neutralization prediction schedule.
Seven experts and researchers, including Prof. Wang Jianting from Tianjin Chengjian University, a member of the Teaching Steering Sub-committee of Engineering Management and Engineering Cost, Ms. Ma Lihua, Director of Debenham Thouard Zadelhoff, Mr. Hu Bin, Deputy Chief Architect of GENERAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTURE & PLANNING DESIGN CO., LTD., CHONGQING UNIVERSITY, Prof. Li Guijun from Central University of Finance and Economics, Prof. Kong Yu from Chongqing University, Prof. Zong Huiming from Southwest University, and Prof. Liu Hongyong from Southwest Petroleum University, delivered academic speeches on the topic "Urban renewal and innovative development of real estate". The experts share their opinions as to how we should adapt to the situation in the context of urban renewal and cope with challenges and opportunities of urban renewal.
Six experts and researchers, including Prof. Liu Yisheng from Beijing Jiaotong University, a member of the Teaching Steering Sub-committee of Engineering Management and Engineering Cost, Prof. Ye Kunhui from Chongqing University, Prof. Jiang Jun from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, a member of the Teaching Steering Sub-committee of Engineering Management and Engineering Cost, Prof. Yan Ling from Tianjin University of Technology, Mr. Kan Naigui, Vice President of Yango, and Mr. Jiang Chang, Chief Economist of China Construction Third ENgineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd., appeared at the event upon invitation and delivered academic speeches. Over the session, the experts and researchers expressed their own views, and pointed out that efforts should be made to adapt to innovation and development from different aspects of the construction industry and cultivate more excellent engineering management talents in this new situation of industrial reform in the construction industry.
Then the 2021 Annual Meeting of Institute of Construction Management of Architectural Society of China and Forum on Engineering Management Education was brought to a successful end. As an academic forum about development innovation and expectation for the future, the Forum exhibited the frontier scientific and technological research findings in the construction management field, provided scientific researchers and professionals with an opportunity to learn and exchange ideas, and promoted collision of ideas and inspirations of construction management and related research. Under the topic "Digital Construction and Industrial Transformation" of the Forum, researchers and other social elites had a discussion over the future development of construction management.
