The School's International Senior Engineering Manager Training and CIOB Membership Certification Program (second batch) brought to a successful close
On June 23, 2019, the International Senior Engineering Manager Training and CIOB Membership Certification Program (second batch) of the School of Management Science and Real Estate was brought to a successful close at Room 210 of the School. As the only membership certification center in west China officially recognized by the Chartered Institute of Building, the School of Management Science and Real Estate has been concentrating efforts on building a high-end exchange platform for theory and practice of international management and training world-first-rate senior engineering managers focusing on the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
Officials and honored guests that appeared at the closing ceremony of the Phase II Class included: Ms. Xi Hong, Deputy Head of Fuling District People's Government, Chongqing and chairman of CIOB Western China, Mr. Guo Yingjie, Supply Chain Director of Fluor (China) China Construction Co., Ltd., Prof. Liu Guiwen, Dean of the School of Management Science and Real Estate, Prof. Zhou Tao, Vice Dean of the School, Ms. Tian Ling, development manager of CIOB Western China, and Mr. Xu Feibo, Director of the Training Office of Chongqing University. Associate Professor Mao Chao, Assistant to the Dean of the School of Management Science and Real Estate and a formal CIOB member, presided at the closing ceremony.
At the beginning of the closing ceremony, Prof. Liu Guiwen of the School of Management Science and Real Estate, delivered a speech. Prof. Liu congratulated the trainees that had completed the training courses on behalf of the School, and extended his gratitude to CIOB and the lecturers for their support and efforts. Besides, Prof. Liu also thanked the team of Mr. Xu Feibo for their careful organization, and the students for their active participation in the training in their spare time. Prof. Liu said that the closing ceremony fell right on the anniversary of agreement signing of the International Senior Engineering Manager Training and CIOB Membership Certification Program of the School of Management Science and Real Estate, which made this closing ceremony more meaningful. Prof. Liu expressed his hope that the trainees could pass the professional review successfully, and become a member of CIOB, and that they would utilize the good-quality resources and development platforms provided by the School of Management Science and Real Estate and CIOB in the future to make self-improvement, make friends that help each other and contribute their professional power to the progress of human society.
After that, Ms. Xi Hong delivered a speech on behalf of CIOB. Ms. Xi Hong extended her gratitude to the School of Management Science and Real Estate for careful organization of the training, and congratulated the trainees on successful completion of the Phase II Class. Ms. Xi Hong said that the training lasted only 8 days but served as an important opportunity and platform for the trainees, who got inspired, found the right direction of their life and appreciated the hardworking of teachers in organization and teaching. This platform continue to offer care and support to the trainees in the future. Ms. Xi Hong expressed her expectations for the trainees: Ms. Xi hoped that the students will be strict with themselves, behave themselves well and keep learning as students of the School and associate members of CIOB; that the students help the theoretical platforms, practical platforms, exchange platforms and international platforms of School of Management Science and Real Estate and CIOB constantly improve their professional level; and that the students cherish friendship with other students and teachers, and establish a long-term effective mechanism of interaction with the teachers, students and members in the future, and by doing so make constant progress. At last, Ms. Xi Hong congratulated the trainees on the successful completion of the training courses again, and wished a better future of the International Senior Engineering Manager Training and CIOB Membership Certification Program of the School of Management Science and Real Estate.
After that, Li Jun, manager in charge of cost contract of Jinke Real Estate Group Shares Limited, executive deputy general manager of JIC Chongqing Construction Engineering Consultancy Co., Ltd., monitor of the Phase II Class, delivered a speech on behalf of all trainees. In his speech, Li extended his thanks to the hardworking teachers of Phase II Class, to all trainees for their active involvement, and to Chongqing University and CIOB for building such a diversified good-quality platform. Li said that they did not only learned knowledge but also got a number of like-minded friends. At last, Li Jun, on behalf of all trainees, presented a crystal disc with carvings of image data during the training to the School as a souvenir.
After that, officials and honored guests present at the closing ceremony presented the trainees with a course-completion certificate.

After the closing ceremony, all officials, honored guests, teachers and trainees present had a group photo taken at the gate of the School of Management Science and Real Estate.
